Welcome to Ansbury Guidance

Update on Ansbury Guidance Services to all our Clients and Partners

National and local careers and employability strategies have changed considerably since 2012 when Ansbury evolved from the central government funded Connexions service.  The charity’s trustees have regretfully concluded, due to our key local government contract ending on July 31st, the charity will close all its other services on this date too.  Until then, it is very much business as usual, good cash reserves will allow an orderly closure in August.

The Chair of Trustees, Tom Grainger, said:

“Trustees, the leadership team and all staff, have attempted to mitigate this outcome for 5 years.  A pension legacy, current national policies, and a new funding landscape make our sustainability impossible. This is of great sadness as our work is needed now more than ever as Dorset recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Ansbury is its people:  they are all experts, with professional skills, experience, and knowledge. Their dedication and passion for ensuring the people of Dorset are equipped to learn, work, and live at their full potential is second to none. I am confident they will continue to positively impact in other roles and places in future.”

Until then, we are here to help you Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and will extend our hours by arrangement.

Call us on 01202 677557 if:
